As she grew older, it became evident that Faryal was missing out on the simple joys of life: the sound of her parents’ voices, the melodies of birdsong, and the laughter of children playing.

Concerned for their daughter’s well-being, Faryal’s parents took her to a local hospital for a thorough examination. After a series of tests, the devastating diagnosis was revealed: Faryal was diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss, a condition that impairs the function of the inner ear. The doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery as the best chance for Faryal to gain her ability to hear.
