Muhammad Azlan's Story

In the small town of Swabi, a little boy named Muhammad Azlan faces a challenging journey through life. At the tender age of four, he finds himself caught in a world of silence, unable to hear the beautiful sounds that surround him every day. Born with a hearing impairment, Muhammad Azlan’s parents have been desperately searching for a solution to restore their son’s ability to hear.

As Muhammad Azlan grew older, his parents got worried about his hearing disability. They sought advice from doctors, hoping to find a way to bring sound back into their son’s life. The doctors suggested a surgical procedure, but the cost of the operation was far beyond the means of their humble family. Their meager income of 75,000 PKR, earned by two hardworking family members, was barely enough to cover their basic needs, let alone afford the surgical expenses.

To make matters worse, the family was burdened with the weight of a significant loan amounting to 80,000 PKR. Every month, utility bills, leaving them with no savings or additional source of income, swallowed up a large portion of their income. Muhammad Azlan’s father, the pillar of the family, found himself in an unstable financial position, unable to shoulder the expenses of the surgery that could change his son’s life forever.

With a trembling voice, Azlan’s father said:

“The gift of hearing for my son would be a miracle, filling our home with joy beyond words. We dream of the day he can delight in his siblings’ laughter, the birds’ dawn chorus, and the warmth of our whisperings. Please help us turn this dream into reality.”

Amid their struggle, a glimmer of hope appeared on the horizon. They heard about Transparent Hands, a ray of light for those in desperate need of medical assistance. Filled with renewed hope, Muhammad Azlan’s family reached out to us.
