Taj Meena Bibi's Story

Taj Meena Bibi, a 24-year-old woman from Karachi, is 37 weeks pregnant and is approaching the end of her pregnancy. Taj is excited to deliver her second child, but her heart is filled with concerns as well. After learning about her pregnancy, she visited a gynecologist at a nearby hospital. Due to her previous history of one C-section, her doctor expressed her concerns and told her that another C-section would be necessary for her and the baby’s safety. However, her family can’t afford the cost of her C-section.

Without the C-section, she may face severe complications like uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress. Her situation is critical, and a C-section is essential.

Taj’s husband runs a small hairdressing shop in their neighborhood and earns around PKR 25,000 per month. This modest income barely covers their basic living expenses. The family lives in a rented house for which they pay PKR 12,000 every month. Additionally, the rent for her husband’s shop amounts to another PKR 6000. After paying these bills, they are left with very little to cover food, utilities, and other essential needs. During these difficult times, saving money for surgery is simply not possible for them. Taj Meena contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Taj Meena said in despair:

“I just want to safely deliver and hold my baby in my arms. This child means the world to me. However, financial hardships stand in our way. I request you to be generous and contribute for my C-section.”

With your generous support, we can ensure that Taj Meena Bibi receives the much-needed C-section. Your donations will help her welcome her baby into the world without fear or danger.

Together, we can be the reason she smiles with her newborn in her arms.
