Abdul Saboor's Story

Currently, Abdul Saboor is hovering between life and death. Open-heart surgery is the only way to save him from his ill fate. Please donate for Saboor’s open-heart surgery and help us bring peace to his parents.

Four years old Abdul Saboor hails from a small town located in KPK. At first, as a baby, Abdul Saboor was weak and feeble. He failed to gain any weight. Later, his nails turned blue. Accordingly, his parents rushed to take him to the hospital. The doctor ran some tests and referred him to Peshawar. Accordingly, The cardiologist did an ECHO test and diagnosed Saboor with a Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). TOF is a cardiac anomaly that refers to a combination of four related heart defects that commonly occur together. The cardiologist advised Saboor to undergo open-heart surgery for total correction as soon as possible. TOF total correction surgery is an open-heart surgery in which the defects are corrected. Unfortunately, Abdul Saboor’s parents could not afford the surgery.

Now, Abdul Saboor’s condition has become a hindrance in his life. He cannot speak or walk without getting breathless. The surgery has become crucial. Therefore, we urge you to please donate for Saboor’s open-heart surgery.

“I have circled back and forth from Laki Marwat to Bannu and from Bannu to Peshawar and from Peshawar to Lahore. It seems as if no one has the right cure for my beloved son. Transparent Hands is my only hope.” -Abdul Saboor’s father.

Currently, Saboor’s father works as a labourer and hardly earns PKR 15000 per month. In his measly income, he can’t arrange for his son’s surgery. Finally, he has registered his case with Transparent Hands. We are determined to save Saboor’s life. However, it is only possible through your financial help. Please donate for Saboor’s open-heart surgery as much as you can.

Abdul Saboor's Story

Abdul Saboor, a beautiful three years old boy, from Laki Marwat, KPK, had a very difficult childhood. He would often fall sick and due to his parent’s minimal resources he was never diagnosed properly. After some check-ups from local doctors they were advised to go to Peshawar city. There he got his initial diagnosis done as Tetralogy of Fallot. The pediatric cardiac surgeon advised him to have an open heart surgery. Therefore, Abdul Saboor was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital. His BT shunt surgery was performed on 17-03-2021 by Dr. Mohammed Asim Khan. He was kept under observation until seen perfectly well and was discharged after five days of hospital stay in stable condition. His surgery was done with the help of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation.
