Muhammad Parvaiz's Story

62 years old Muhammad Parvaiz is on the verge of death. He was an active and healthy man until he was diagnosed with ischemic heart disease 5 months ago. His angiography revealed that his 3 heart vessels are blocked and only open heart surgery could repair his heart. The doctor added that Parvaiz needs surgical treatment at earliest. A little delay could risk his life.

Parvaiz resides in a small town of Hafizabad with his wife and a son who works as a salesman in a small shop. Parvaiz’s 3 daughters are married whereas his elder son is working as a laborer abroad. The collective income of this family is 35,000 PKR out of which they have to pay house rent of 7,000 PKR a month. They are living in a miserable condition and Parvaiz’s heart disease has added up to their worries.
