Ease Amir’s Pain Through Implant Removal Surgery
Amir Khan's Story
Amir Khan, a 30-year-old man from Umerkot, Sindh, has been living with pain and discomfort. Three years ago, Amir had a fracture of his left forearm bone and underwent surgery, during which a metal implant was placed to stabilize the bone. Over time, Amir began to experience pain in his left forearm. Daily tasks like lifting objects, driving for long hours, or even resting his arm have become difficult for him. Concerned about his worsening condition, Amir consulted a doctor who prescribed medicines, but they brought no relief. After further evaluation and an X-ray, the doctor recommended implant removal surgery. However, Amir can’t afford his surgery. If the implant is not removed, the pain and inflammation in Amir’s forearm may continue to worsen over time. It may lead to complications such as severe infection and potential damage to surrounding tissues and bones.
Amir lives with his father and three unmarried sisters in their modest home. His mother has passed away. Amir works as a driver and earns approximately PKR 22,000 per month. His brother, who serves in the army, also contributes to the household. The family’s total monthly income is around PKR 50,000. Despite their combined efforts, their income barely covers their basic living expenses, making it impossible to afford the surgery.
With a heavy heart, Amir shared his emotional plea as follows:
“I experience pain in my arm that makes even routine tasks difficult. The discomfort has taken over my life, and at times it becomes unbearable. I just want to live a normal life again. Kindly help me receive the surgery so that I can find relief.”
Amir’s recovery depends on your generosity. Your support can help him overcome this painful condition and regain a healthy life.
