Ramsha Arsalan's Story

Ramsha Arsalan, a 26-year-old woman from Multan, is 34 weeks pregnant and preparing to welcome her fourth child. Having previously delivered all three of her children through C-sections, she recently visited the hospital for a routine medical checkup. After evaluating her condition, the doctor recommended a C-section to ensure the safe delivery of her baby. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure is beyond her family’s financial means. Without the recommended C-section, both Ramsha and her baby may face serious health risks. Women with a history of multiple C-sections are at increased risk of uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, infection, and complications during childbirth. Delaying or avoiding the recommended procedure may endanger the health of both the mother and baby.

Ramsha is a housewife and the mother of three young children. Her husband works as a driver and is the sole earning member of the family, bringing home only PKR 30,000 per month. His modest income is used to provide for five family members, including monthly educational expenses of PKR 1,000 and utility bills amounting to PKR 4,000. Although the family lives in a modest home, their limited resources make it impossible to afford the cost of Ramsha’s C-section.

Ramsha shared her heartfelt plea as follows:

“My greatest wish is to safely welcome my baby into this world and continue taking care of my children. My husband works hard to provide for our family, but his income is only enough to meet our everyday expenses. Kindly help me receive this C-section so my baby and I can remain safe.”
