Ayesha Siddiqa's Story
Ayesha Siddiqa is a lovely little girl who was born without the sense of hearing. The doctors have advised her parents to get her a cochlear implant. However, it is an extremely expensive device, and they will be unable to obtain it without your help. Ayesha’s future depends on this device. Six-year-old Ayesha Siddiqa, a resident of Lahore, has been suffering from hearing loss since birth. Until her first birthday, her parents were completely unaware of this. Her parents took her to a hospital when they discovered she wasn’t responding to her name and other voices. The doctors diagnosed her with sensorineural hearing loss. The doctor recommended that she should get a cochlear implant. An electronic device is surgically installed during cochlear implant surgery. It helps the patient with developing a sense of hearing.
Ayesha’s parents have reason to be hopeful now as they know a cochlear implant can help their kid. However, due to financial constraints, they are unable to pay for it on their own.
Ayesha’s parents live in a small house. His father supports a family of six members with a meager income. He works as a daily wager and earns just PKR 17,000 per month. There is no way for Ayesha’s father to pay for the cochlear implant surgery.

Ayesha Siddiqa's Story
Six-year-old Ayesha Siddiqa, a resident of Kasur, had sensorineural hearing loss since birth. Her parents were unaware of her condition until she turned one. Then, they took her to a local hospital for consultation. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with deafness and advised to undergo Cochlear Implant Surgery. She was admitted to National Hospital, Lahore where Dr.Naveed performed her operation to install the internal component of her cochlear implant successfully on 17-06-2022. Ayesha was discharged after one day of stay in the hospital. After six weeks, the external component of her cochlear implant was fixed. She has gained the ability to hear.
