Help Safina Welcome Her Baby Safely Through a C-Section
Safina Farhan's Story
Safina Farhan, a 23-year-old expectant mother from Hyderabad, is currently over 20 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second child. This should be a joyful time for her family. However, Safina’s pregnancy has become a source of constant worry due to her previous C-section. Due to her medical history, her doctor has advised her to undergo another C-section to ensure the safety of both the mother and child. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section is far beyond what her family can afford. Without the recommended C-section, Safina may face life-threatening complications during labor, including uterine rupture, severe bleeding, infection, fetal distress, and other emergencies that can endanger both her life and her baby’s. Receiving timely C-section is essential to ensure a safe delivery and a healthy start for her newborn.
Safina is a housewife who lives with her husband, young son, and extended family in a modest home owned by her father-in-law in Hyderabad. Her husband works as a daily wage laborer, earning approximately PKR 30,000 per month, while her father-in-law also works as a laborer and contributes a similar income to support the household. Together, they provide for a family of six, making it increasingly difficult to meet daily living expenses. Due to their modest financial resources, paying for the required treatment is beyond their reach.
Safina shared her heartfelt plea as follows:
“As a mother, my only wish is to bring my baby into this world safely and watch my children grow up together. My husband works hard every day to provide for our family, but his income is only enough to cover our basic needs. He can’t afford this C-section. Kindly help me during this time of need.”
Every mother deserves the chance to experience a safe childbirth. Your generosity can help Safina undergo the recommended C-section.
