Unfortunately, Muhammad Syed Ubaid's family is unable to afford the necessary expenses for this life-changing surgery.
In their quest for hope and assistance, Muhammad Syed Ubaid's family has turned to Transparent Hands for financial assistance. Through the generosity of donors, Muhammad Syed Ubaid's journey towards hearing restoration has begun. Transparent Hands collaborated with GIMS Hospital in Gambat, where Dr. Maqbool, a skilled surgeon, successfully performed the surgery to implant the internal component of the cochlear implant on March 24, 2024. The procedure was a resounding success, and within just two days, Muhammad Syed Ubaid was discharged from the hospital, brimming with renewed hope for his future.
Over the following six weeks, the external component of Muhammad Syed Ubaid's cochlear implant was meticulously installed. His family sought the expertise of a dedicated speech therapist who would provide ongoing speech therapy, maximizing his hearing capabilities. With bated breath, they eagerly awaited Muhammad Syed Ubaid's response to the new world of sounds that would soon greet his ears.
