Muhamamd Farhan's Story

Muhammad Farhan, a 37-year-old man from Multan, has been struggling with blurred vision in his right eye, making it increasingly difficult for him to carry out daily activities. As his eyesight gradually deteriorated, routine tasks became more challenging, affecting both his independence and quality of life. Concerned about his worsening vision, he consulted a doctor for a detailed examination. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with a right-eye cataract. A cataract is a condition in which the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy. To restore his eyesight, the doctor has recommended Right Phacoemulsification with Foldable Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is beyond his financial means. Without the recommended surgery, Muhammad Farhan’s vision may continue to deteriorate, making daily activities increasingly difficult. If left untreated, cataracts may lead to severe vision impairment and, in some cases, permanent vision loss. Timely treatment is essential to restore his eyesight and prevent further complications.

Muhammad Farhan lives with his family in a rented house in Multan. He is the sole earning member of the household and holds a private job, earning just PKR 40,000 per month. This modest income is used to support his family of four, including his young child, and barely covers their living expenses. Paying for Farhan’s surgery is impossible for them.

Muhammad Farhan shared his plea as follows: “My eyesight has become weaker with each passing day, and it makes even routine tasks difficult to manage. I want to see clearly again. I need your support in undergoing eye surgery. Kindly help me.”

Restored eyesight can change Muhammad Farhan’s life, enabling him to regain his independence and carry out his daily responsibilities with confidence.
