Save Kawish’s Life by Supporting His Open-Heart Surgery
Muhammad Kawish's Story
Muhammad Kawish, a 1-year-old baby boy from Sargodha, has been fighting with a severe health condition since birth. Kawish struggles with shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and bluish discoloration due to low oxygen levels. Even mild activity makes him breathless, leaving his parents deeply worried about his fragile health. After a thorough evaluation and some necessary investigations, Kawish was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). It is a Congenital Heart Disease that affects the normal flow of oxygen-rich blood in the body. This condition can make breathing difficult and may cause the child’s lips, hands, and feet to appear blue. To correct his heart condition and improve his oxygen levels, the doctor has advised Angiography followed by Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction.
If Kawish does not receive the required surgery, his condition may continue to worsen and lead to:
- Severe breathlessness and low oxygen levels
- Difficulty in growth and physical development
- Increased risk of heart failure
Kawish belongs to a financially struggling family of five. He has three siblings, and his father, Javed Iqbal, is the only earning member of the household. He works as a laborer and earns only PKR 20,000 per month. The family lives in a small one-room brick house in a rural area. Their modest income is spent on food, utility bills, and basic household needs. They are also burdened with a payable loan of PKR 50,000. The cost of Kawish’s surgery is far beyond his family’s financial reach. His father wants to save his son, but his income is not enough to cover such a major treatment.
Kawish’s father shared his pain in these words:
“I work hard as a laborer, but I am unable to afford my son’s heart surgery. Kindly give generously to save his life.”
Kawish needs your support to undergo Angiography and Open-Heart Surgery. Your donations can help correct his heart condition, improve his breathing, and give him the chance to grow like other children.
