Kanwal Ali Akbar's Story

Kanwal Ali Akbar, a 27-year-old woman from Kasur, is currently 33 weeks pregnant with her fourth child. This condition brings both joy and concern to her. Kanwal has previously undergone two C-sections. During her recent checkups, doctors have advised another C-section for the safe delivery of her baby. However, her family can’t afford a C-section. Given her history, a normal delivery may place both the mother and child at serious risk, including complications that may endanger their lives. A timely C-section is essential to ensure the safety of both.

Kanwal is a homemaker and lives with her husband and three children in a small rented house in Kasur. Her husband holds a private job and earns approximately PKR 32,000 per month. This income is used to manage rent, utility bills of PKR 3500, and the educational expenses of PKR 10,000 for their children. After meeting these basic needs and other household expenses, very little remains to cover healthcare costs, making it impossible for the family to arrange the money required for the C-section. As her delivery date approaches, Kanwal is facing worries. She looks at her children and dreams of safely bringing another child into the world.

With hope and concern, Kanwal shared:

“I am extremely worried because of my history of C-sections. The doctors have advised another C-section, but my husband cannot afford it. I just want to deliver my baby safely. Kindly contribute to my C-section.”

Kanwal is counting on your kindness. Your contribution can help ensure a safe delivery for her. By giving your Sadaqah, you can help Kanwal experience motherhood with safety, relief, and dignity.
