You Can Help Aqsa Bibi Recover From Hematemesis
Aqsa Bibi's Story
Meet Aqsa Bibi, a 29-year-old woman from Nawabshah, Sindh, whose health has been affected by repeated episodes of vomiting blood, indigestion, and weakness. Daily life is becoming increasingly difficult for Aqsa as she struggles with a serious health issue. Recently, she visited a doctor at a local hospital. Following a clinical evaluation, Aqsa was labelled with hematemesis, a condition characterized by vomiting blood. Her doctor has recommended an Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsy to investigate the source of the bleeding and determine the appropriate medical treatment.
Continued bleeding may lead to complications such as anemia, severe weakness, and, in serious cases, life-threatening blood loss. Aqsa needs timely medical attention, but her family is facing financial hardships and cannot afford the endoscopy and biopsy.
Aqsa is a homemaker who lives with her husband and their two children in Nawabshah. Her husband works as a farmer on someone else’s land and earns approximately PKR 25,000 per month. As the family’s sole earning member, he struggles to meet their daily household needs. With such a modest income, affording Aqsa’s medical care is beyond the family’s means.
Aqsa shared her plea as follows:
“I have been suffering due to episodes of vomiting blood, weakness, and digestive problems, and I am deeply worried about my health. My husband works hard to earn money, but he can’t afford my endoscopy and biopsy. Kindly help me during this challenging time.”
Aqsa deserves access to essential healthcare services, but her family’s financial hardship is standing in the way. Your support can help her receive the recommended investigations, giving her hope during this difficult time.
Give Sadaqah and bring hope to Aqsa Bibi.
