Muhammad Younis's Story

Younis awaits Total Hip Replacement. Life has not been very easy for Muhammad Younis. Currently, Younis is unable to put weight on his legs without flinching in pain. But, there is still hope. Your donations can get Muhamamd Younis back upon his legs again. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Younis’s total hip replacement surgery as much as you can.

For the last two years, thirty years old Muhammad Younis, a resident of Layyah, has been suffering from right hip Arthritis. It caused him great pain and discomfort. Later, it restricted his ability to walk as well. Upon consultation, Muhammad Younis was diagnosed with this condition.

The only option to treat this damaged joint is total hip replacement surgery. During the process, the surgeon replaces the old joint with an artificial joint (prosthesis). At first, the doctor will perform the surgery on his right hip. While this surgery promises a pain-free life to Muhammad Younis, it is certainly not an affordable procedure.

Unfortunately, Muhamamd Younis cannot afford the hefty cost of a hip replacement surgery. Due to his debilitating illness, Younis has been unable to work. He used to work as a labourer but now this joint pain is affecting his ability to work. He financially relies on assistance. In these circumstances, they are in no position to arrange for Muhammad Younis’s surgery. Younis shared his worries with Transparent Hands and told us:

“It has been two years that I have been taking painkillers for this intense pain.  They never really worked for me and this pain kept getting worse. I don’t know when I will get rid of this ache.”

After a lot of distress, Muhammad Younis has registered his case with Transparent Hands. We have assured him that we would arrange for his surgery as soon as possible. But, that won’t be possible without your help. As Muhammad Younis awaits Total Hip Replacement, we request you to please donate for his case as much as you can.

Muhammad Younis's Story

Muhammad Younus, a 23-year-old resident of Layyah, had been suffering from pain in his right hip joint for the last two years. He was prescribed symptomatic treatment but he found no relief. After further consultation, the doctor diagnosed him with Arthritis and advised a non-cemented Total Hip Replacement. Younus works as a daily wager and his family’s financial condition is not good. Younus got to know about Transparent Hands through a friend and he contacted us. We registered his case and sent him to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust. He got his surgery done by Dr. Adeel Razzaq on 12-01-2022. Muhammad Younus was discharged after four days of hospital stay in stable condition. Muhammad Younus is now recovering well. Your donations helped him walk again.
