Adeela Asghar 's Story
Adeela Asghar, a 25-year-old resident of Karachi, had been suffering from anal pain, itching, and rectal bleeding during bowel movements for three months. Both pain and inflammation are increasing day by day. She went to a local hospital for a check-up. After evaluation, the doctor diagnosed her with an anal fissure. It is a small tear or cut in the lining of the anus. The doctor advised her to undergo an EUA and lateral internal sphincterotomy of the anus to treat the fissures.
For Adeela and her family, the prospect of surgery brought both hope for relief and concerns about the financial burden it would entail. With limited financial means, her family found themselves unable to bear the expenses associated with the necessary procedure. In their time of need, they turned to Transparent Hands. We promptly responded to Adeela’s family’s plea for help. Recognizing the urgency of her condition and the financial constraints her family faced, we took swift action to secure the necessary funds for Adeela’s surgery.
She was admitted to Murshid Hospital, Karachi, where her operation was successfully performed by Dr. Nargis on 13-07-2023. She was discharged from the hospital after one day. The procedure aimed to heal the anal fissures and alleviate the pain and discomfort Adeela had been enduring for months.
With her health restored, Adeela can now embrace life with renewed vigor. The surgery has alleviated her pain, itching, and rectal bleeding, enabling her to regain her daily activities without hindrance. She can now approach life with newfound confidence, pursuing her ambitions and enjoying the simple joys that were once overshadowed by her condition.
Adeela is immensely grateful to the donors of Transparent Hands, as their generosity made her surgery possible, offering her a chance at a pain-free and healthy life. The financial assistance has not only transformed Adeela’s life but has also inspired countless others facing similar challenges.
