Amna Ayaz Delivered Her Baby Safely with a C-Section
Amna Ayaz's Story
Amna Ayaz, a 31-year-old woman from Karachi, was pregnant with her fourth child when growing concern overshadowed her pregnancy. Having already undergone three C-sections, she knew the risks involved. She visited a doctor at a local hospital. Considering her history, her doctor advised a planned C-section to protect the health and safety of both mother and baby. However, the cost of the surgery was overwhelming for her family.
Amna lives in a small rented home with her husband and three children. Her husband works at a steel mill and earns only PKR 30,000 per month. This limited income barely meets household expenses, school needs, and house rent, leaving no room to manage the cost of a surgical delivery. As her pregnancy progressed, the anxiety of arranging timely medical care continued to grow. During this difficult situation, Amna and her family reached out to Transparent Hands. Moved by their plea, we registered Amna’s case.
On September 11, 2025, Amna was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Farkhanda Saeed successfully performed her planned C-section. Amna safely delivered a healthy baby girl. She received essential post-operative care. Amna was discharged in stable condition on September 13, 2025, along with her newborn daughter.
Amna shared her feelings as follows:
“During this pregnancy, fear stayed with me every day because I knew a C-section was necessary but beyond our means. With your support, my delivery was safe, and my baby girl is healthy. I am recovering well and feel immense relief. I am truly thankful to you for protecting my life and giving my child a safe beginning.”
Today, Amna is recovering steadily and regaining strength with each passing day. She can care for her newborn and spend time with her children without constant worry. She is deeply thankful for your support, which ensured a safe delivery, restored her peace of mind, and brought happiness back into her family’s life.
