Anamta Fatima's Story

Anamta Fatima, 2 years old, was suffering from patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), a defect in which the fetal connection between two main blood vessels of the heart fails to close up after birth. The doctors suggested her procedure with device occlusion. Her procedure was done on 24th September 2020 by Dr. Najam Haider at Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, in which her PDA was closed by device placement. She recovered well after her procedure. Slowly, Anamta is returning to her normal way of living.
