Aoun Abbas Imran Abbas's Story

One-year-old Aoun Abbas, a resident of Lahore, has suffered from shortness of breath, cyanosis, and episodes of fever and chest pain since birth. He is also unable to gain weight. His parents learned about his condition recently. They took him to a local hospital. After the diagnostic tests and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with a congenital heart condition involving Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for total correction. His father has an income of PKR 60,000 per month. He works hard every day to provide for his family, but his surgery is too expensive for him to bear alone. With his father’s limited income, he cannot afford the high cost of cardiac surgery. His family contacted Transparent Hands and submitted his documents. His case has been filed with us.

He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was successfully performed by Dr. Asim Khan for median sternotomy, LPA plasty, VSD Closure, and RVOTO Resection on 7-09-2023. He stayed in the hospital for five days.
