Arbab Khatoon Had a Successful C-Section Surgery
Mai Arbab Khatoon's Story
Mai Arbab Khatoon, a 42-year-old woman from Jaffarabad, Balochistan, was facing a challenging time. Due to her age and the complications she faced in her previous pregnancies, she received a consultation from a doctor. After running some diagnostic tests and an ultrasound scan, the doctor advised that a C-section was the safest option for both her and the baby. When she discovered she was expecting her sixth child, her heart was filled with joy and concern simultaneously, as the significant cost of the C-section surgery was overwhelming for her family.
Living in a small hut with her children and husband, they hardly make ends meet. Her husband is a farmer and works tirelessly to provide for the family, but his income covers their basic needs only. The cost of the C-Section was beyond their financial capacity.
In this time of need, Arbab Khatoon turned to Transparent Hands for help. Understanding the critical nature of her situation, we promptly registered her case.
The day of surgery arrived and Arbab was admitted to Murshid Hospital Karachi. On 22-05-2024, her surgery was managed and performed by Dr. Samreen Zeeshan. Arbab delivered a healthy baby girl. She was hospitalized for four days and received essential medicines and care from the medical staff.
The moment she held her newborn in her arms, all her fears and worries were replaced by an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude.
Arbab Khatoon shared, her voice filled with emotion:
“I was so scared, but you gave me the support I needed when I had nowhere else to turn. Thank you for bringing my daughter into this world safely. I can never forget your generosity.”
She can now focus on her recovery and caring for her newborn. Her family is deeply grateful to the donors who made this surgery possible. Your kindness has not only saved lives but has also brought immense joy to a family. Thank you for being the reason Arbab and her baby can now look forward to a bright and happy future.
