Atiya Zaman Delivered Her Baby Safely Through a C-section

Atiya Zaman Bhatti's Story

Atiya Zaman Bhatti, a 32-year-old woman from Karachi, was expecting a child and eagerly anticipating the arrival of her baby. However, her pregnancy came with medical concerns. She had a history of one previous C-section. After evaluating her condition and medical history, her gynecologist advised a planned C-section to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Without timely C-section, Atiya and her baby could face serious health risks.

Despite the medical necessity, Atiya’s family struggled to afford the procedure. She lives in a modest house owned by her father-in-law. Her husband works as a shopkeeper, earning only PKR 10,000 per month, and they have a young son who is not yet of school-going age. Due to their financial constraints, arranging money for her C-section was impossible. During this challenging situation, Atiya’s family contacted Transparent Hands for assistance. Moved by their plea, we registered Atiya’s case.

On September 10, 2025, Atiya Zaman Bhatti was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Samreen Zeeshan successfully performed her planned C-section. The surgery went smoothly, and Atiya received essential post-operative care. She delivered a healthy baby girl and was discharged in stable condition from the hospital on September 12, 2025.
