Ayaz Is Grateful to You For Relieving His Pain
Ayaz Muhammad Khan's Story
Ayaz Muhammad Khan, a 39-year-old man from Karachi, had been suffering from severe knee pain for the past eight months. Simple movements such as walking, standing for long periods, or climbing stairs had become extremely painful. The condition not only affected his daily routine at home but also created serious difficulties at his workplace. Concerned about his worsening condition, Ayaz visited a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After undergoing an X-ray, MRI, and other necessary medical investigations, he was diagnosed with a left-sided Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear along with a medial meniscus tear. To restore proper knee function and avoid long-term disability, the doctor recommended ACL reconstruction along with medial meniscus repair surgery.
Unfortunately, Ayaz was unable to afford the cost of this complex surgical procedure. He lives in a modest home with his wife and three children. Ayaz holds a private job and earns only PKR 35,000 per month. His limited income is barely sufficient to meet basic household expenses such as food expenses and utility bills. The added burden of medical costs placed immense stress on the family, leaving them worried about his future and livelihood. During this challenging time, Ayaz approached Transparent Hands for assistance. After careful evaluation of his medical condition and financial situation, his case was registered.
On November 20, 2025, Ayaz was admitted to the Altamash General Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Dr Muzafer Hussain successfully performed the ACL reconstruction and medial meniscus repair surgery. The procedure was completed smoothly, and Ayaz was kept under close post-operative observation. He was later discharged in stable condition on November 23, 2025.
Ayaz shared his joy as follows:
“For months, I lived with constant pain and fear of losing my job. Walking felt impossible. After the surgery, I feel stronger every day. Your support has restored my mobility, confidence, and given me a sense of security and relief.”
Today, Ayaz is recovering well. He has regained independence, allowing him to return gradually to normal activities. Ayaz and his family are deeply grateful to you for giving him a chance to walk pain-free and rebuild his life.
