Ayesha Underwent Excision of Fibroadenoma Successfully

Ayesha Ilyas's Story

Ayesha Ilyas, a 19-year-old woman from Lahore, had been suffering from pain and discomfort caused by a lump in her left breast. The swelling continued to increase in size over time, becoming more painful and disturbing for her. This condition made her anxious. Concerned about her health, Ayesha’s family took her to a nearby hospital, where the doctor conducted a thorough examination and diagnostic tests. After undergoing careful evaluation, she was diagnosed with left-sided Breast Fibroadenoma, a non-cancerous lump made up of glandular and connective tissue. The doctor advised surgical excision to remove the fibroadenoma.

Ayesha lives with her joint family of eight members in a modest rented home. Her father and brother work as daily wage laborers, earning just enough to manage their house rent, food, and basic necessities. Their monthly household expenses left no room for medical costs. On September 9, 2025, Ayesha was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Lahore. Her surgery was scheduled for the same day. Dr. Ahmed Fawad successfully performed the excision of the fibroadenoma. The surgery went smoothly without complications. After receiving the required post-operative care, she was discharged in satisfactory condition on September 10, 2025.
