Abdul Wahab's Story
Abdul Wahab, a four-year-old resident of Rawalpindi, suffered from sensorineural hearing loss. The ENT specialist who examined him advised a cochlear implant for him. Abdul Wahab was referred to Ali Medical Complex, Rawalpindi where the internal component of the cochlear implant was installed in his ear by Dr. Jawwad on 16.12.2021. He was discharged on the date of his surgery. The external component of his cochlear implant was installed after six weeks. He can discover sounds now.
