Faizan Has Recovered From Perianal Fistula

Muhammad Faizan's Story

Muhammad Faizan, a 21-year-old man from Lahore, had been suffering from pain and swelling in the perianal region for over a year. His condition was accompanied by pus and blood discharge, causing constant discomfort. Sitting for long periods became extremely painful, making it difficult for him to perform routine tasks and continue his daily work. Worried about his worsening symptoms, Faizan visited a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a thorough examination, he was diagnosed with a High Perianal Fistula, a condition caused by an abnormal connection between the anal canal and the surrounding skin. To relieve his symptoms and prevent further issues, fistulectomy with seton placement was advised as the most effective treatment.

Unfortunately, the cost of surgery was beyond the family’s financial capacity. Muhammad Faizan lives in a small rented home with his joint family of five members. Both he and his father work as salesmen, earning a combined monthly income of PKR 50,000. This limited income is barely sufficient to manage rent, utility bills, and household expenses. During this difficult time, Faizan’s family approached Transparent Hands. After listening to their concerns, we registered his case.

On November 25, 2025, Muhammad Faizan was admitted to Evercare Hospital, Lahore. Dr. Ahmed Fawad successfully performed this fistulectomy. The surgery went smoothly, and Faizan received proper post-operative care and monitoring. He was discharged in stable condition on November 26, 2025.

Faizan shared his feelings as follows:
“I lived with constant pain that affected every part of my routine. I could not sit, work, or rest properly. After the surgery, I finally feel relief. I am truly thankful to you for helping me regain comfort and the ability to live normally again.”

Today, Muhammad Faizan is recovering well at home. His pain has reduced significantly, and he is gradually returning to his daily activities with new confidence.
