Farzana Naz, a 35-year-old resident of Multan, faced a daunting journey as she approached the birth of her fourth child. Eight months into her pregnancy, she found herself in urgent need of medical intervention to ensure a safe delivery. However, her family’s modest monthly income of PKR 30,000 placed them in a vulnerable position, making it difficult to afford the necessary medical care. The hope for the safe arrival of their newest family member relied heavily on the compassion and generosity of kind-hearted individuals willing to support Farzana’s medical needs.

During a routine check-up in her eighth month of pregnancy, Farzana’s gynecologist at the local hospital advised her to undergo a lower-segment caesarean section (C-section) for the well-being of both mother and baby. In desperate need of financial assistance, Farzana reached out to Transparent Hands. Thanks to the support of generous donors, she was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan, where Dr. Shazia skillfully performed the cesarean surgery on February 21, 2024. The procedure was a resounding success, and Farzana’s heart brimmed with joy as she welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world.

Following three days of post-operative care, Farzana was discharged from the hospital, cradling her precious bundle of joy in her arms. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she expressed her deepest thanks to Transparent Hands and the compassionate donors who had made this life-changing moment possible. Their generosity not only safeguarded the health and well-being of both mother and child but also infused newfound hope and happiness into their lives.
