Hasnain Has Found Relief Through Septoplasty

Muhammad Hasnain's Story

Muhammad Hasnain, an 18-year-old man from Mardan, had been struggling for the past nine months with recurring nasal blockage, swelling, and severe headaches. These symptoms disrupted his sleep and made it difficult for him to focus on his studies. The discomfort not only affected his academic performance but also caused fatigue and irritability. Concerned about his health, his parents took him to a local doctor for a thorough evaluation. After performing diagnostic tests and carefully reviewing his condition, the doctor diagnosed Hasnain with Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS). To treat this issue, the doctor advised septoplasty. However, his family was unable to pay for his surgery.

Hasnain lives in a modest home in Mardan with his parents and three siblings. His father runs a small shop and earns only PKR 20,000 per month. With such limited income, the family struggles to cover basic needs, including food, school expenses for the children, and household bills. Saving for an expensive surgical procedure seemed impossible, leaving the family anxious and desperate as Hasnain’s condition worsened. During this difficult time, his parents contacted Transparent Hands. Upon listening to their concerns, we registered Hasnain’s case.

On September 28, 2025, Hasnain was admitted to Darman Medical Complex in Shergarh. On the same day, Dr. Zafar Ayaz successfully performed his septoplasty, correcting the nasal deviation. The surgery relieved the obstruction, reduced swelling, and alleviated his headache. Hasnain received careful post-operative care and was discharged in stable condition on September 29, 2025.
