Khalida Bibi's Story

Invoice Already a mother of four, Khalida Bibi was expecting her fifth child and faced significant challenges. Due to her age and two previous C-sections, her doctors advised that a C-section was necessary to ensure the safety of the mother and the child. However, the cost of the surgery was beyond the financial reach of Khalid Bibi’s family.

Khalida’s husband, Muhammad Ashique Shah, is a teacher at a madrassa and earns just PKR 30,000 per month. While the Madrassa provides accommodation for the family, he is responsible for covering the utility bills. The couple has four children, who are currently pursuing religious education. With limited income and no savings, the family could not afford a surgical procedure. During this difficult time, Khalida Bibi reached out to Transparent Hands for help, and we registered her case.

On November 3, 2025, Khalida was admitted to Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre in Karachi. Under the care of Dr. Samreen Zeeshan, she underwent a successful C-section and delivered a baby girl. The procedure was conducted safely, avoiding potential complications. Khalida Bibi received proper post-operative care and was discharged in stable condition on November 6, 2025.

Khalida Bibi expressed her gratitude to the donors. She said:

“I was extremely worried. I had no idea how I would pay for the delivery given our limited resources. Your support has been a great blessing for my family. Thank you! My baby and I are safe and healthy. I am recovering and looking forward to raising my children. Thank you for bringing me hope during my most desperate time.”
