Manahil Zafar's Story
Five-year-old Manahil, a resident of Peshawar, was suffering from sensorineural hearing loss since birth. Her parents got to know about this when she was one year old. They took her to a local hospital for evaluation. After the evaluation and running some diagnostic tests, the doctor advised cochlear implant surgery. She was admitted to Ali Medical Centre, Islamabad, where Dr.Jawwad Ahmed performed her operation on 19-09-2022.
He installed the internal component of the cochlear implant successfully. Manahil was discharged after one day of her stay in the hospital. After six weeks, the external component of her cochlear implant was installed. Your donations gave her the ability to hear.
