Muhammad Bilal, a 42-year-old man from Muzaffargarh, was experiencing pain and discomfort in his lower right abdominal region. He also faced repeated bouts of nausea and vomiting. His illness affected his ability to perform well at work. Concerned about his condition, he went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with acute appendicitis. To alleviate his pain and prevent further complications, the doctor advised an appendectomy. Unfortunately, the surgical cost was out of his financial reach.

Bilal lived in a modest house with his wife and four children. Bilal, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a housekeeper and made just PKR 28,000 per month. A significant portion of his income went towards children’s school fees, utility bills, and food expenses. The family was left with no savings to pay for Bilal’s surgery. During their search for help, they found Transparent Hands and asked for assistance. Recognizing the gravity of his situation, we promptly registered his case.

On February 24, 2025, Bilal was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Lahore. His surgery took place on the same day. Dr. Ahmed successfully performed his surgery, relieving him of his intense pain. After receiving post-operative care, Bilal was discharged in satisfactory condition on February 25, 2025.
