Journey alongside one-year-nine-month-old Muhammad Faras from Kohat as he breaks free from silence and discovers the symphony of sound. Born into a world without auditory sensation due to congenital hearing loss, Muhammad Faras’ path to hearing was illuminated through the support of generous donors and medical expertise, marking a journey from silence to newfound hope.

From the very beginning, Muhammad Faras’ life was intertwined with silence, a world without the melody of sound due to congenital hearing loss. Seeking a solution, his family turned to the possibility of cochlear implant surgery. Transparent Hands stepped in, providing Muhammad Faras the opportunity for this transformative surgery at Ali Medical Complex, Islamabad, on 03 Oct 2023, performed by Dr. Jawwad Ahmed. The initial installation of the internal component paved the way for a crucial milestone in Muhammad’ journey toward hearing restoration. Six weeks later, the subsequent installation of the external implant followed, marking another pivotal step forward.

Muhammad Faras’ courageous odyssey toward sound stands as a testament to the transformative power of compassion and medical advancements.
