Muskan Sohail's Story

Muskan Sohail 17 years old was experiencing weakness, increased tendency to bleed and Low Hb for last few months. She was investigated and diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia – Evans’s syndrome. She received multiple blood transfusions and was advised removal of her spleen. Her surgery – Spleenectomy was done by Dr. Ahmed Fawad on 21-05-19 at Akram Medical Complex. Doctors observed significant improvement in her blood levels after surgery and she needed no transfusions afterward. She stayed for 4 days in hospital and was discharged in good condition with OPD follow-ups.
