Naveeda Welcomed Her Baby Through a Safe C-Section

Naveeda Bibi's Story

Naveeda Bibi, a 32-year-old woman from Mardan, was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby. She looked forward to this joyful moment, but her pregnancy was complicated due to her medical history. She had a history of three C-sections in the past. Therefore, her doctor advised a C-section this time too. This decision was made to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby. However, her family couldn’t afford her C-section.

Despite the medical necessity, Naveeda and her family faced severe financial constraints. She is a housewife, and her husband works as a daily wage laborer, earning only PKR 25,000 per month. They live in a rented home with their four children, and their limited income barely covers household expenses. Their financial situation made it impossible for them to afford the cost of surgery. During this difficult situation, the family approached Transparent Hands, and Naveeda’s case was registered for assistance.

On September 20, 2025, Naveeda Bibi was admitted to the Darman Medical Complex in Shergarh. Dr. Annie Samad successfully performed the planned C-section. She safely delivered a healthy baby. The medical team closely monitored her condition after surgery and provided essential post-operative care. Naveeda was discharged in stable condition from the hospital on September 21, 2025.
