Nawab Zada's Story

Nawab Zada, a 22-year-old resident of Upper Dir, had been suffering from chest pain and breathlessness for the past two years. The doctor diagnosed him with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) after a consultation. For ASD closure, the doctor recommended open-heart surgery. On 02-04-2022, he went to Ittefaq Hospital for the procedure, which was performed by Dr. Muhammad Asim Khan. He was admitted to the hospital for five days and discharged in good health. The surgery was performed in collaboration with the Children’s Heart Foundation of Pakistan. Nawab now sees a bright future ahead of him.
