Qurat ul Ain's Story

Qurat-Ul-Ain, a five-year-old resident of Sargodha, battles against the challenges of dyspnea, cyanosis, and stunted growth. Hidden behind her innocent smile is the heavy burden carried within her tiny heart. After a medical consultation, she was diagnosed with ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) and PAPVC (Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection), requiring an ASD Closure procedure for treatment.

However, Qurat-Ul-Ain’s family faced a dark cloud of financial constraints. Her hardworking father struggled to bear the overwhelming burden of the surgical expenses. Filled with despair yet determined to save his precious daughter, he turned to Transparent Hands for financial support.

With the generous support of Transparent Hands, Qurat-Ul-Ain was admitted to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital, Lahore. On September 5, 2023, her operation was carried out successfully by the skilled hands of Dr. Faiz Rasool. She received excellent care during her four-day hospital stay, ensuring a smooth recovery.
