Rida Fatima’s Heart was Saved

Rida Fatima's Story

Six-year-old Rida Fatima, a resident of Lahore, was born with a congenital cardiac defect. She had been experiencing weakness and breathlessness. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot. She was advised to undergo Angiography followed by open-heart surgery to repair the defects. Therefore, she was sent to Ittefaq Hospital to get her surgery done on 19-04-2022 by Dr. Salman A Shah. Postoperatively, she was kept under observation for intensive monitoring as she had an unusual delay in her recovery. Finally, she progressed to full recovery perfectly and was discharged after 15 days of stay in the hospital. Rida Fatima’s heart is now healthy.
