Riyaz Is Thankful to You For Relieving His Pain
Muhammad Riyaz's Story
Muhammad Riyaz, a 45-year-old man from Multan, was experiencing severe pain in his left flank region. The intensity of the pain made everyday activities such as sitting, standing, and even lying down extremely difficult. Alongside constant discomfort, he also suffered from nausea and repeated episodes of vomiting, which left him physically weak and emotionally drained. Riyaz visited a nearby hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a detailed evaluation and necessary diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed Riyaz with left-sided kidney stones. His doctor advised left-sided Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy. However, the cost of the surgery was beyond his financial means.
Riyaz lives in a small house with his wife, four children, and two other family members. Riyaz is currently unemployed due to his illness and cannot contribute financially. One son works at a shop, another as a gardener, and the third as a cobbler. Their combined monthly income is only PKR 28,000, which is barely enough to meet basic household needs. Paying for surgery was completely out of reach. During this time of need, Riyaz contacted Transparent Hands. Moved by his plea, we registered his case.
On November 12, 2025, Muhammad Riyaz was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. After further assessment of his condition, the surgical plan was revised, and pyelolithotomy was performed by Dr. Adnan Ch on November 13, 2025. The surgery went smoothly, and Riyaz was closely monitored during post-operative care. His condition improved steadily, and he was discharged in stable condition on November 15, 2025.
Riyaz shared his feelings as follows:
“The pain had confined me to bed and made me dependent on others for everything. After the surgery, I can sit and move without discomfort. I am sincerely grateful to you for restoring my health and hope during this difficult time.”
Today, Muhammad Riyaz is recovering well, with significant relief from pain and weakness. He is gradually resuming normal activities. Riyaz and his family are deeply grateful to you for easing his suffering and giving him a healthy life.
