Muhammad Rohan, a 25-year-old man from Lahore, had been struggling with pain and discomfort caused by lumps in both sides of his groin for several months. What began as occasional discomfort gradually developed into a serious problem that affected his daily life. The lumps became more noticeable and painful whenever he walked for long periods, bent down to work, or lifted heavy objects. Worried about his worsening condition, Rohan visited a local hospital for a checkup. Following a detailed examination and diagnostic tests, doctors diagnosed him with a bilateral inguinal hernia. The hernia on the right side was more severe than the one on the left. To prevent further risks and relieve his pain, the doctors recommended right-sided inguinal hernioplasty. Rohan lives in a modest home with three family members. He works alongside his father as a tailor, and together they earn approximately PKR 70,000 per month. While they work hard to support the household, their income is consumed by daily living expenses, utility bills, and other essential needs.
