Saad Sabir's Story

Saad Sabir, a 17-year-old resident of Lahore, had been enduring pain in his hip joint for the last nine months. He was taking symptomatic treatment but it didn’t relieve his pain. Upon workup, he was initially diagnosed with Tuberculosis of the Hip and was advised medical treatment for this. After the completion of the medical treatment for TB, the doctors re-evaluated him and he was diagnosed to have been suffering from Avascular necrosis (AVN) of the left hip. For this purpose, Saad was advised to undergo total hip replacement. At the time of surgery, his plan was revised, and left hip release surgery was suggested. His procedure was performed successfully by Dr. Javaid Iqbal in PSRD on 31-08-2021. Saad was discharged after three days of hospital stay in satisfactory condition. Saad Sabir is doing much better now.
