Safina Khalid's Story

Safina Khalid, 41 years old, was suffering from swelling around the umbilical region for the last four years. She was diagnosed with a paraumbilical hernia. She was advised a mesh repair – a type of hernia repair surgery where a mesh patch is sewn over the weakened region of tissue. Her surgery was done on 26-09-2020 by Dr. Muhammad Aslam at Maryam Memorial Hospital. She remained admitted in the hospital for a day after her surgery and was discharged in perfect health. Slowly, Safina Khalid is starting to get back to her normal way of living.
