Samiya Will Always Remember Your Support for Her Safe C-Section
Samiya Riaz's Story
Samiya Riaz, a 21-year-old woman from Multan, was eagerly looking forward to welcoming her third child. However, her pregnancy required special attention. Samiya visited a gynecologist for a routine evaluation. She had previously undergone two C-sections, and her last pregnancy ended in heartbreak when her baby was born with severe congenital anomalies and could not survive despite being delivered through a C-section. Due to her medical history, her current pregnancy was considered high-risk. To minimize the risk of serious complications and ensure the safety of both mother and baby, the doctor recommended C-section. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section was beyond Samiya’s family’s financial means.
She is a housewife and lives in a modest home with her husband and their young child. Her husband serves as an Imam and earns only PKR 25,000 per month. His modest income is used to cover food, utility bills, and other essential household expenses, leaving no savings to afford the surgery. Hoping for a safe delivery and a brighter future for their child, the family reached out to Transparent Hands. After reviewing Samiya’s medical records and assessing the family’s financial circumstances, her case was registered for treatment.
On May 29, 2026, Samiya was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. Her C-section was performed by Dr. Humaira Imran on May 30, 2026. The procedure was completed without complications, and Samiya safely delivered a healthy baby boy. Following post-operative care and observation, both mother and baby remained in stable condition. Samiya was discharged on June 1, 2026.
Cherishing the new beginning, Samiya said:
“After losing my previous baby, I spent every day of this pregnancy hoping and praying for a safe delivery. We knew a C-section was necessary, but paying for the surgery was beyond our means. Your generosity made it possible for me to safely welcome my baby boy into the world. My family and I will always be grateful for your kindness and for giving us a new reason to smile.”
Today, Samiya is recovering well and embracing the joy of motherhood with her newborn son. Both mother and baby are in good health, bringing comfort and happiness to their family.
They extend their heartfelt gratitude for your generosity, which made this safe delivery possible and gave their baby boy a healthy start in life.
