Shahida Bibi's Story

Shahida Bibi, aged 26, a resident of Sargodha experienced trauma to the left leg seven years ago after a fall. Her old non healing fracture was dealt with surgery. Unfortunately she has had difficulty walking since then. She now requires support for walking. For fixing her left fracture of neck of femur her Girdle stone procedure was done. Now the doctors have advised her to undergo left total hip replacement surgery. For this purpose she was admitted to Akram Medical Complex, Lahore where her surgery was performed by Dr. Zahid Siddique on 10.08.2021. She stayed in the hospital for eight days and was discharged in a stable condition after three days. The constant pain and discomfort that she once complained of is gradually subsiding.
