Shazia’s hernia was repaired

Shazia Bibi's Story

Shazia Bibi, aged 37 years, had a lump in her abdominal area close to the umbilicus for the last eight years. She also suffered from severe abdominal pain from time to time. On medical consultation, she was diagnosed with paraumbilical hernia. The doctor advised surgical repair of the hernia. For this purpose, Shazia was admitted in Ahmad Medical Complex and her surgery was performed by Dr. Asif Imran on 12.02.2021. Her Mayo’s repair was done to fix the hernia. She stayed in the hospital for three days and was discharged in a stable condition. She recovered swiftly post-surgery.
