Sibtain’s Heart Defects Have Been Corrected with Your Support

Muhammad Sibtain, a 3-year-old boy from Rahim Yar Khan, had been facing serious health challenges since birth. Even routine activities left him extremely tired, and he struggled to gain weight like other children. Watching their son grow weaker was heartbreaking for his parents, who wanted nothing more than to see him healthy and happy. Worried about his condition, Sibtain’s parents took him to a nearby hospital for a thorough check-up. After careful examinations and tests, the doctor diagnosed Sibtain with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction (LVOTO), and Right Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction (RVOTO). To address these issues, the doctor recommended open-heart surgery for total correction. However, his family couldn’t afford the treatment.

Sibtain lives in a small rented home with his parents, grandfather, and two siblings. His father works as a farmer, and his grandfather earns a living as a milkman. Together, their combined income of just PKR 38,000 per month barely covers their daily necessities. Facing financial hardships, they couldn’t afford Sibtain’s life-saving surgery. During this challenging situation, Sibtain’s family reached out to Transparent Hands for help. After reviewing his medical condition and financial circumstances, we registered his case.

On February 17, 2026, Sibtain was admitted to the Ittefaq Hospital in Lahore. The next day, Dr. Asim Khan successfully performed his open-heart surgery for total correction. The operation went smoothly, and he received post-operative care. He was discharged in stable condition on February 23, 2026.
