You Restored Khalil’s Health with Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Muhammad Khalil, a 40-year-old resident of Karachi, had been struggling with health issues for the last five years. He frequently experienced pain in the upper right side of his abdomen, especially after meals, accompanied by indigestion and discomfort. Over time, these symptoms became more severe, making it difficult for him to carry out his daily responsibilities. Concerned about his worsening condition, Muhammad Khalil went to a local hospital. After a thorough clinical evaluation and some diagnostic investigations, he was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis, a condition caused by the formation of gallstones in the gallbladder. He works at a private company and earns only PKR 40,000 per month. He is responsible for supporting his two children and his elderly mother, while also managing household expenses, utility bills, and other necessities. After showing satisfactory progress, Muhammad Khalil was discharged in stable condition the following day.
