Shagufta Bibi's Story

Shagufta Ahmed 30 years old lady was suffering from dyspnoea on mild exertion for last 6 years. She was investigated and found to have Rheumatic Heart Disease- Mitral Stenosis (MS) and Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR). She was advised open heart surgery and replacement of her Mitral Valve. She was operated in National Hospital by Dr. Ahmed Shehbaz on 24-09-2018. Her Mitral Valve was replaced. She recovered well after the surgery and was discharged after 4 days of hospital stay in good health.
