Ayesha Ashraf, a 37-year-old woman from Kasur, was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby, but she also experienced anxiety due to her high-risk pregnancy. With a history of a previous C-section, she was fully aware of the complications that could arise in her pregnancy. As her delivery date approached, she became increasingly concerned about her safety and the well-being of her unborn child. Ayesha visited a gynecologist at a nearby hospital for a detailed check-up. After reviewing her medical history and conducting necessary examinations, the doctor recommended a C-section. This procedure was essential to avoid serious complications and to protect both the mother and baby.

However, Ayesha’s family was unable to afford the cost of the surgery. She lives in a modest home with her husband and four children. Her husband is the sole breadwinner and works at a store, earning only PKR 30,000 per month. This limited income made it extremely difficult for them to manage the surgical expenses. On March 13, 2026, Ayesha was admitted to the Ahmed Medical Complex in Kasur. Dr. Akram successfully performed her C-section. The procedure went smoothly without any complications, and Ayesha delivered a healthy baby boy. Both the mother and newborn were kept under observation and were discharged in stable condition on March 15, 2026.
