Your Support Helped Kanwal Deliver Her Baby Safely with a C-Section

Kanwal Iqbal's Story

Kanwal Iqbal, a 36-year-old woman from Multan, was going through a difficult and high-risk pregnancy. This was her third pregnancy, and she had previously delivered both of her children through C-sections. As her pregnancy progressed, she began visiting a local hospital regularly for medical checkups. The doctor carefully reviewed her medical history and conducted a detailed examination. Considering her history of two C-sections and the risks involved in her pregnancy, the doctor advised another C-section for a safe delivery. However, the cost of the procedure was beyond the family’s financial capacity.

Kanwal is a housewife and lives in a rented house with her husband and children. Her husband works as a laborer and earns only PKR 15,000 per month. This limited income barely covers their house rent, food, utility bills, and other household expenses. With your generous support, Kanwal was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan on March 9, 2026. The following day, Dr. Humaira Imran successfully performed her C-section. The surgery went smoothly, and Kanwal safely gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and baby remained under medical observation and received proper post-operative care. After showing satisfactory recovery, they were discharged in stable condition on March 11, 2026.
