Zeenat Bibi's Story

Zeenat Bibi, 55 years old, suffered from a terrible roadside accident on a motorbike. It resulted in an injury to her left leg. When she was taken to the hospital, the X-rays revealed that her left femur bone had fractured at the neck. The doctors advised bipolar hemiarthroplasty for her. Hemiarthroplasty is a type of surgical procedure. The surgeon replaces one half of the hip joint with a metallic prosthesis while leaving the other half intact. For this purpose, Zeenat was admitted in Akram Medical Complex and her surgery was performed by Dr. Naveed Ali Sher on 26.01.2021. She stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Zeenat is slowly recovering from her surgery and has started moving her leg.
