Muhammad Irtaza's Story
Three-year-old Muhammad Irtaza, a resident of Lahore, had been suffering from a congenital cardiac defect. His symptoms included cyanosis and repeated chest infections. Irtaza was diagnosed with a Partial Atrioventricular Septal Defect and was advised to undergo a Complete Repair of PAVSD. Hence, he was sent to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital to get his surgery done by Dr. Faiz Rasool on 02-02-2022. Sadly, during the surgery, Irtaza suffered a cardiac arrest. Even though the doctors tried their best, his life couldn’t be saved. Irtaza will be missed.
